SAIC is looking for an IT business process design and organizational change expert to join our team supporting an important US government agency in the National Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team responsible for supporting Agencies transition to an efficient hybrid cloud architecture.  Modernization includes implementing modern software development and release processes benefitting from the capabilities of Microsoft Azure DevOps Server and related DevSecOps tool chain applications integrated with ServiceNow to leveraging cloud functionality and tool integrations to automate processes and streamline approval workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create high level and detailed process documentation supporting all aspects of IT Service Management
  • Use modeling tools (Visio, PowerBI, Excel, etc.) to develop processes, visualizations, use cases and user stories
  • Develop and evaluate customer business practices to recommend an approach to support the delivery of new business processes and process improvement
  • Lead and collaborate with customers in their efforts to take advantage of DevOps, Azure cloud, security operations, and ITSM solutions to automate and improve business processes
  • Assess best practices, trends, and process implementation strategies to optimize solutions for customer projects and sponsoring organizations
  • Support emerging technology adoption, government enterprise IT modernization efforts, and delivery of innovative technical solutions

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree with 7 years or Master’s with 3 years of relevant experience in a technical environment with a variety of IT systems and Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). At least Three of those years of experience must be in the Microsoft Azure DevOps / DevSecOps , Service Now and Change Management

 

CERTIFICATION:

One or more certification - ITLV3, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Security Plus

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Solid understanding of IT processes (ITIL, Security Operations, System Development Lifecycles, etc.)
  • Ability to elicit, understand, and document process requirements
