SAIC is seeking a Sr Technical Trainer support the United States Air Force in its goal of developing an interoperable system of system in a cloud-based command and control (CBC2) environment.  The Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS CBC2) goals include achieving alignment with the Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) vision of improved information sharing, layered security, common data and architecture standards, system resiliency, faster implementation, and more effective cross-domain capabilities, including the ability for any sensor to inform any shooter across all domains.

This next generation system shall employ the latest advancements across the technology spectrum to include AI/ML and distributed architectures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large, complex system of systems design, development and integration projects.  This role will require expertise in software (SW) design, development, configuration management, architecture, and large distributed (networked) compute platforms. This role is primarily remote but may require some reporting to an SAIC office or travel for meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans, develops, and implements technical product training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel.
  • Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules.
  • Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.
  • Conducts training sessions, product demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
  • May utilize trainers with technical expertise.
  • May administer tests.
  • Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course material reflect product features, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
  • May include military trainers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors and 9+ years’ experience with technical training or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI
