SAIC is looking for a Logistics Analyst to provide day-to-day, onsite Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) support for the US Navy’s Computer Network Defense team in No. Charleston, SC.  SAIC is looking for a motivated, adaptable individual with a background in DoD Logistics, willing and able to help out on mission critical operations in support of NIWC LANT.

Job Description:

• This position will be responsible for maintaining detailed spreadsheets to track inventory across multiple builds and variants, organize hardware parts and integral build components, and account for inbound/outbound equipment and material.
• Prepare Navy documentation to include TMRs/ MRFs/RMAs/DD1149’s for processing, DRMOing, shipping, and receiving of equipment.
• Perform Inventory control and maintain project assets (GFE/GFM) in CMPRO and Navy ERP in accordance to Command FIAR compliance.
• Packaging, handling, storing, and preparation for transporting of CND equipment and material while keeping accurate records and keeping warehouse neat and tidy.

Travel: Anticipated travel is up to 10%, both CONUS and OCONUS.  Candidate must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more logistics experience; or Master's and seven (7) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Required skills:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.
• Proficiency with CMPRO or DoD inventory / logistics management tools for input and tracking of material.
• Strong experience with military RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), DRMOing, shipping, and receiving processes and documentation.
• Candidates for this position will need excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities and tasks.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Word).

Required clearance:

• Active Secret Clearance and must be able to obtain a Top Secret. 

Desired skills:

• Professional Logistics certifications.
• Experience with Navy Logistics programs.
