This leader will shape the culture and processes necessary for our team to pursue and execute agile, go-fast production capabilities that enable futuristic improvements for U.S. space based applications. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness with the ability to apply and/or develop highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts, as well as streamlined team leadership and program management processes necessary to deliver integrated space systems on go-fast contracts for various customers.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership.
Efforts include requirements definition, process development, standards setting, staffing, inventory management, production management, key metrics development, throughput optimization, and production capabilities expansion. This role may be responsible for several production lines or contract deliverables to multiple customers. He/She will hire and integrate a production team that may include direct staff, temporary staff, subcontractors or suppliers, and task or project leads; and may require balancing complex workflows. This leader provides guidance, direction, and mentoring to the internal cross-functional team and develop complex processes, procedures, techniques, or tools for the program and the account. Key skills may include electronics integration and test, experience working in a cleanroom environment, configuration and inventory management, program management, systems engineering, systems integration and test experience, and/or experience with earned value management and program planning.
Experience with space hardware development programs including complex schedule interactions and cost control (R&D or FFP contracts as examples) is highly desired.
The candidate will support business development and scalable capability growth.
