Position Summary
We are currently seeking motivated and energetic Data Analyst Intern to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career with SAIC. Our goal is to award contingent offer letters to those that are interested in working for SAIC upon graduation and support efforts to get your clearance processed during that time.
Job Responsibilities
The Data Analyst will participate in the system architecture design, systems engineering, development, integration testing and validation, and all aspects of the software life-cycle (requirements to design to implementation to test) for a browser based application implemented using Java and backend web services. The candidate will be responsible for developing and testing Java code as dictated by project requirement.

Qualifications
Typical Education and Experience
High School and one year or more of college coursework in a technical field
Intern Program- 2023 requirements
- Must have completed your junior year in college (minimum 3.5 GPA preferred)
- Currently studying in one of the following focus areas: Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Business
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening
Customer Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if offered a position upon graduation, permanent opportunity after completion of the internship.
- Citizenship – Must be a US Citizen
- Location – Telework with some on-site (Kingstowne, VA or Ashburn, VA) visits for mission needs.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
