Description
Description: Serves as a senior level air traffic control system specialist to assist the FAA in coordinating activities with air traffic requirements and operations personnel. The candidate will provide support for the design and location of control towers. This support includes: coordinating support for required technical interchange meetings and various program reviews; coordinating workgroup activities for ATO program offices; assisting in air traffic requirements development; system analysis; system/subsystem specifications analysis to ensure air traffic operational concerns are addressed and appropriate technical requirements are included; presenting recommendations/solutions related to short and long-term program planning requirements; developing management plans; assisting in training requirements development; and classifying and summarizing data for the preparation and submission of reports on a recurring basis.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in any field and 10+ years’ experience. Would consider Associate’s degree with 15 years of Air Traffic Control (ATC) active, full performance level experience, or 20 years of Air Traffic Control (ATC) active, full performance level experience, in lieu of degree. Equivalent experience in the U.S. Military or international control environment is acceptable.
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
