SAIC is currently seeking to hire a Senior Software Developer to support the Product Development team located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Note: candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to Colorado Springs and work onsite with no remote options.

Job Responsibilities:

As a member of this team you will lead and collaborate on software development tasks including technical design and development of cloud-based products. As a Senior Developer, you will provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers on the team (junior does not lead).

• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software.
• Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting.
• Analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program, data acquisition, programming techniques and controls

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors degree with five (5) years of software development experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Required Clearance:

Candidates must have an Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret with CI Poly; US Citizenship required.

Required Skills:

• At least 5 years’ experience of overall software development
• Agile SAFe development
• Desire to lead and collaborate with developers and QA testers
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to research, troubleshoot, and determine solutions
• Ability to author, understand, and translate business-level acceptance criteria into technical designs
• Strong organizational, time-management, written and communications skills

Desired Skills:

• 5 years’ experience with C# (website), SQL, and JavaScript
• 3 years’ experience with SAFe

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
