SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer Senior to support our DHS - CWMD team in Alexandria, Virginia. This position will be remote, but may require occasional attendance at our customer location in Alexandria, Virginia. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Lead the risk management responsibilities that include working with government and contractor program office personnel and systems engineers from various cross functional teams to perform program risk assessment and analysis
• Assessing risks, issues, and opportunities in acquisition programs and projects
• Developing handling strategies and mitigation plans
• Documenting and communicating risks, issues, and opportunities
• Tracking and conducting periodic reassessments
• Responsible for knowledge management of risks, issues, and opportunities
• Responsible for facilitating briefings/meetings in risk, issue, and opportunity management

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
• US Citizenship is required
• Candidate must have a DoD Secret clearance
• Candidate must be able to obtain DHS Suitability Public Trust prior to starting work with our team
• Development and implementation of Risk Management processes, tools, and reporting
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Desired Qualifications

• Prior work with DHS acquisition programs 
• Knowledge of SharePoint Environment
• Active DHS suitability 

Target salary range: $105,001 - $115,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
