SAIC currently has an opening for an Information Assurance Engineering Lead supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Saint Elizabeths Technology Services II (SETSII) Contract. The contract scope provides services to design, procure, configure, install, test, secure, accredit, and O&M an IT infrastructure for the St. Elizabeths Campus that supports DHS Component Agencies, Non-DHS Component Agencies, and commercial vendors (e.g., barber shop, credit union).
The Information Assurance Engineering Lead shall serve as the senior point-of-contact and lead for ensuring that Government and Industry best practices for maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity, and availability of IT systems and services are applied and executed in the systems engineering, implementation, and O&M of the IT systems and services on the Saint Elizabeths campus.
Functional Responsibility: This is a full-time position. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal communications and coordination skills to direct activities.
This position is contingent upon award.
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Active Information Assurance Management (IAM), Level II, DoD 8570.01 Manual Certification.
Experience securing IT systems and services to Government and industry Information Assurance standards, policies, guidelines, and best practices.
Experience actively managing IT systems and services operations to maintain Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.
Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD or DHS certification and accreditation security controls, procedures, and policies.
Experience with Information Security Vulnerability Management (ISVM) and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms).
Relevant experience and competency from operating in support of or in coordination with DHS mission partners, or demonstrated proficiency providing program management and analytical support to programs and projects serving SETSII
Active Top Secret security clearance.
Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
Experience identifying security risks and develop and apply security risk mitigation strategies.
Knowledge and experience with Type 1 encryption devices and procedures as they relate to classified networks.
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials and communicating and coordinating with other Government contractors and industry.
