Description
SAIC currently has an opening for a Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Lead supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Saint Elizabeths Technology Services II (SETSII) Contract. The contract scope provides services to design, procure, configure, install, test, secure, accredit, and O&M an IT infrastructure for the St. Elizabeths Campus that supports DHS Component Agencies, Non-DHS Component Agencies, and commercial vendors (e.g., barber shop, credit union).
The O&M Lead shall serve as the senior point-of-contact for all O&M of inscope IT systems and services at the Saint Elizabeths campus.
Functional Responsibility: This is a full-time position. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal communications and coordination skills to direct activities.
This position is contingent upon award.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and (10) years experience. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience managing and supervising an IT service desk and incident response system with a multi-disciplinary staff (40 persons or more) to ensure IT systems and services delivery and performance are in accordance with SLAs.
Experience maintaining, monitoring, reporting, diagnosing, and repairing IT systems and services in accordance with Government and industry standards.
Experience in configuration management, updating, and patching of IT systems and services in a Configuration Control Board (CCB) managed environment.
Experience in coordinating and executing the provisioning, configuring, and setup of IT systems and services for multiple tenant populations
Experience managing and maintaining the underlying technologies used at Saint Elizabeths to include; Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON), Ethernet technologies, Secure point-to-point (PTP) high speed wireless services (e.g. free space optics, millimeter wave technologies), Service Now, IT infrastructure technologies
Relevant experience and competency from operating in support of or in coordination with DHS mission partners, or demonstrated proficiency providing program management and analytical support to programs and projects serving SETSII
Active SECRET security clearance.
Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
Desired Qualifications
Active Top Secret security clearance.
Active PMI PMP certification or equivalent certification.
Active Certified ITIL v. 4 Intermediate Level.
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials and communicating and coordinating with other Government contractors and Industry.
