SAIC has a need for a Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Army’s Network Design Facility (ANDF) in Huntsville, AL.  The successful candidate will work in an agile environment incorporating Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and automated testing processes for the requirements development and validation for the development of the Common Application Suite for LINK 16 (CASL). This system ensures supports interoperability among the tactical C2 systems used in joint and multinational operations.  Primary responsibilities include:

• Validate existing system requirements documentation supporting our host platforms.
• Develop emerging system requirements for new host platforms that use tactical datalink.
• Support the development of automated testing for CASL software.
• Develop test procedures and analysis cases that adhere to the requirements analysis
• Coordinate requirements traceability efforts and develop training material for CASL training briefs.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree with at least 3 years relevant experience OR Masters with at least 1 year of experience.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of HELIX ALM or a JIRA-like program
• Working knowledge of Squish or other regression testing tool
• Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills  
• Ability to electronically organize data and present technical information to both internal and external customers
• Candidate must be a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skills

• Knowledge with Army and NATO tactical Data Link Standards
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
