Description
SAIC has a new opportunity for a Technical Program Manager. The future of world-class mission support and innovative ground system architecture and software is being developed today in the Intelligence Community. The chosen candidate will lead the creation of a cross-domain transfer architecture, including test and demonstration activities, which will become the overarching guidance for software development efforts. The individual will define development objectives, review change requests and architecture changes, and provide innovative recommendations on prioritization and the optimal courses of actions. The selected candidate will work seamlessly with other government and contractor team members in a challenging work environment.
This position is located on-site in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph for consideration.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
One or more certifications in: CISSP/CISSM, CSM, or other Agile implementation, ITIL, Cloud (AWS or Azure)
Extensive experience managing projects with DevSecOps, Risk Management Framework (RMF), CI/CD Pipeline, and Development Platforms
Extensive experience with IT and Web Services in the management, coordination, scheduling, and delivery of large and/or complex technology-based projects through various project lifecycle including project initiation, planning, execution and closure
Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework and modern software security requirements in the DoD, working with security and accreditation
Desired Qualifications:
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in good standing
Experience with technology transitions that includes cross team collaboration and organizational change management
Advanced skills with Business Analytics and suing applicable tools such as Tableau, Jira with EasyBI, Excel, etc.
Advanced skills using Jira or similar task tracking tools to define and control scope, track status, and build reports
Advanced skills in open communication and building cohesion between teams
Ability to define requirements and scope of work for project initiation and planning
Ability to direct and manage project development while defining the project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals
