SAIC is currently seeking to hire a Senior Cyber Engineer to support the Army Cyber Command in Fort Gordon, Georgia.

Note, candidate must have an active TS/SCI Clearance and able to attain a CI Poly and MADO access approval.

Job Responsibilities:

Cyber Security Engineer will provide Risk Management Framework Engineering, Security Architecture, and Assessment and Authorization (A & A) support of advanced OCO/DCO and DoDIN operations.

  • Serve as a point of contact for engineering efforts and while assisting in maintaining compliance with the customer's policies and guidelines. 
  • Provides assistance with technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions.
  • Interfaces with the stakeholders in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. 
  • Assists with configuration, validate secure complex systems, and test security products and systems to detect security weakness. 
  • Validates and verifies system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs.
  • Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates IA and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments. 
  • Builds information assurance (IA) into systems and ensures updates are deployed to developmental and operational environments. 
  • Conducts continuous monitoring and prepares Body of Evidence (BoE) documents such as System Security Plan (SSP), Security Assessment Report (SAR), Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), System Software and Installation Procedures, Security Test Procedures and Software Application documentation, policy and procedures requirements. 
  • Collaborates with engineering team for design and implementation to ensure RMF systems comply with FISMA provisions and DoD Army Policies and regulations for cyber operations. Effectively communicates work plans, milestones (POAM), and obstacles to government leadership.
  • Develops and prepares information System Descriptions and Registration using eMASS, XACTA or other Information Assurance Management tools.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors with five (5) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Required Clearance:

Active TS/SCI clearance, CI Poly, MADO Access Approval; US Citizenship required.

Required Certification: 

  • CISSP of equivalent certification

Required Skills:

  • Experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT Infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas
  • Proficient in Risk Management Framework Engineering, Security Architecture, and Assessment and Authorization (A&A)
