Description
SAIC has a new opportunity for a Model Based Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate for this role will be excited about space-based remote sensing systems, has a strong desire to implement Model-Based Systems Engineering techniques, and is prepared to serve as a technical member of a dynamic team providing full lifecycle, end-to-end Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience
- An active TS/SCI with Poly
- Intelligence Community knowledge and work history
- Knowledge of, and experience executing, SAFe Agile methodology
- Familiarity with industry space-based remote sensing capabilities
- Understanding of basic Model-Based Systems Engineering concepts
- Professional communication skills
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody, Sparx, Core
- Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Commitment to recognize, understand, respect and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority
