SAIC is Seeking a motivated, experienced individual to develop and maintain our existing CI/CD pipeline and manage modernization, change and release management processes for efficiency, security, and regulatory compliance as part of a multi-year effort The Azure DevOps Architect’s primary responsibilities include providing technical leadership in the creation and support of continuous integration (CI), continuous development (CD) pipelines for Cloud services using Azure DevOps Server; as well as contributing to the design, management, and support of the Azure PaaS/IaaS environment. This includes proof-of-concept designs for change management, Dynamics 365 and Oracle J2EE.
As a senior member of the engineering team, your knowledge share and partnership will be critically meaningful. The right candidate will have the ability to adapt to changing technology and apply it to the customer needs. Great communication, leadership and personal skills are a must.
Job Duties (not limited to):
- Lead the development of proof of concepts and best practices to manage the migration of multiple systems from on-premises architectures to Azure architectures leveraging Microsoft DevOps
- Drive continuous improvement in cloud solutions and infrastructure with new innovative approaches
- Design solutions in compliance with industry best practices, including knowledge of cloud automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevSecOps tool chains and CI/CD pipelines. Terraform experience is a plus
- Support Dynamics 365, Oracle J2EE initiatives by providing direction, coaching and updated design documentation
- Work with Business Process engineers, SecOps Tool engineers, ITSM Tool engineers and others to integrate and automate actions throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of previous DevOps Engineering/ Architect experience - either in a formal DevOps Engineering role or as a major, continuous part of the responsibilities in a Software Engineering role
- Experience with\awareness of development languages (Python, Java, .Net) and ability to test\debug
- Experience with testing tools and methodologies (Selenium)
- Knowledge and practice of agile development
- Experience with migrating enterprise Microsoft and open-source house solutions a plus
- Must be able to attain a Public Trust Clearance
