Description

The Program Manager (PM) will serve as SAIC’s single Task Order (TO) manager and will be the authorized interface with the FEDSIM Contracting Officer, FEDSIM Contracting Officer’s Representative, and US Border Patrol (USBP) Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for the TO. The PM will be accountable for the overall management of this TO. The PM will supervise program operation by developing management procedures and controls, planning and directing program execution, and monitoring and reporting progress. The PM will ensure proper management and control financial and administrative aspects of the program with respect to contract requirements. The PM is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the TO, to include both technical issues and businesses processes. It is required that the PM be an employee of SAIC and have the authority to make decisions on behalf of SAIC in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual, programmatic, and resource limitations issues.

Qualifications

Security Clearance:  Current CBP background investigation public trust suitability determination
Education:  Master of Arts/Master of Science degree
Certification:  PMP/PgMP or DAWIA Level III Program Management
Expertise:

  • Excellent public speaking skills to present an oral proposal to the Government evaluation team
  • Over 10 years of experience as a PM
  • Experience working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a program
  • Ability to perform all functional duties independently
  • Ability to oversee and be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to the program

Experience:

  • Organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks. 
  • Effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organization. 
  • Meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute those items in accordance with approved plans.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
