Description

The Chief Technology Manager (CTM) will focus on the technological requirements, opportunities, and challenges within PMOD across all Portfolios. The CTM is a technologist, a technology architect, an innovator, and someone who can enhance interoperability across technology and infrastructure solutions. The CTM will be at the forefront of innovative technology products and services, assisting Portfolios and individual Program Managers with understanding available and emerging technologies while working to integrate interoperability into the requirements development process.


The CTM will promote efficiency by ensuring technical support across all Portfolios work together to deliver a successful integrated solution through flexible, collaborative, and balanced staffing support between matrixed and portfolio-specific personnel. The CTM will support the PMOD with establishing and implementing the processes and procedures to define, document, and manage the operational and integration capabilities necessary to achieve operational mission requirements.

This opportunity is contingent upon award. 

Qualifications

Security Clearance:  Current CBP background investigation public trust suitability determination
Education:  Master of Science degree in an Engineering discipline (Ph.D. preferred)
Expertise:

  • Excellent public speaking skills to present an oral proposal to the Government evaluation team
  • Over 15 years of experience in innovative technology 
  • Ability to perform all functional duties independently
  • Ability to coordinate the efforts of all staff assigned to the program
