Seeking an experienced Microsoft Project Administrator and Power BI Report Developer who is responsible for project online configuration and report development to support federal government clients.  The Administrator will serve as subject matter expert as well as hands on engineer, providing technical support for operations of Project Online and Power BI, including new implementations and upgrades. Additionally, the PPM Administrator will work with an existing team to understand current configurations, policies, and technical components, and provide support for ongoing O&M activities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• MS Project technical subject matter expert to include expert level understanding of all aspects of MS Project (on-prem,cloud), PowerBI reports, Sharepoint etc.
• Provide guidance to the customer on Project capabilities including research and analyze new features.
• Migrate data from Project on-prem to projectOnline
• Provide day-to-day O&M support for Project Online and PowerBI.
• Design, develop, customize team sites, libraries, lists, views, and workflows
• Design, develop, test and provide quality assurance for on premise and/or cloud-based project information system releases using Microsoft Project Online and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Maintain/sync test and production instances for client tenants.
• Develop, implement and maintain complex PowerBI reports standardized and custom PowerBI reports, including complex dashboards and visualization reports.
• Define and implement corresponding permissions to support reporting and management of requirements Portfolios, Programs, and Projects.
• Managing the collaboration capabilities of project sites with regard to project risk, project issues, and project documents.
• Assess suitability for solutions in Project Online, PWA, SharePoint Online and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, test plans, configuration documents, implementation plans, training materials, etc.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.
• Create customize charts and custom calculations as required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in a technical or business discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise project management solutions using MS Project Server in both online and on-premise environments.
• 5+ years’ experience with Power BI
• Excellent verbal/written communication and customer facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple activities and/or tasks simultaneously

• Experience with Rationale
