Description
SAIC is seeking to hire a Systems Administrator to support the Air Force in their development of multiple DevSecOps environments for the SAP community. This position will require the candidate working with the government customer and other commercial vendors during the development of these capabilities. The expectation is that this role will include interaction and support at the user level, with senior leaders and science and technology stakeholder via in virtual engagements. This position is fully remote.
Specific duties and responsivities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the SAIC systems and software team building out the DevSecOps environment
- Support to the DevSecOps customer base as the systems go through customer testing and prototype design and implementation.
- Manage and support the system administration of cloud and hybrid cloud AWS and Azure IL2 and IL5 environments.
- Maintain and update systems and users level documentations for compliance and system accreditation.
- Respond to and support the DevSecOps development team and customer/users of the environment during the development and upon the systems operational deployment phase of this program.
- Brief and inform Air Force customer on systems status, compliance and performance data.
- Manage the eventual system admin team for the operational environment.
- Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions of varying complexities. Ensures data/media recoverability by developing and implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
- Plans and implements the modernization of servers.
Qualifications
- Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- AIM or IAT level 2
- Experienced with SSO employment
- Managing team of system administrators supporting a DevSecOps environment
- AWS or Azure experience and certifications
Desired Skills:
- Experience in the SAP and Air Force EITaaS communities
- Experience in a classified government environment
- Cloud system admin experience and experience managing a cloud deployment of DevSecOps tool stacks.
- Azure and or AWS certifications
