The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command’s infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality assurance for the Program at the direction of the Program’s Quality Assurance Manager.
Reviews and updates a Baseline Quality Management Plan (QMP) that describes application of the appropriate methodology and metrics for accomplishing and measuring Government-approved performance expectations and objectives as applicable to web content and SharePoint services
Develops and implements processes, procedures, and test/validation plans that conform to the QMP, as well as to contract and regulatory requirements
Devises procedures for and conducts audit, inspection, documentation, reporting, and resolution of quality assurance issues at all stages of the life cycle, including new and existing hardware and software products, data, databases, web content, SharePoint sites, networks, servers, facilities, systems, and services
Communicates with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections
Monitors all operations that affect quality and continuously observes and analyzes quality data records to intervene with new or adjusted quality control measures to address habitual or newly discovered areas of performance
This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours.
