The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command’s infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).
The successful candidate will be responsible for serving as the Program’s Subject Matter Expert on quality assurance processes, contributing pertinent product or process knowledge and skill to all facets of the program, and assisting in interpreting and applying contract requirements and engineering specifications. They will work with Program Team Management, Task Leads and Government counterparts to identify roadblocks and opportunities and ensure products and services are delivered both securely and reliably, to improve the tools and environment that service the USTRANSCOM MITS workforce.
Responsibilities may include:

Overall lead, manager, advisor, and administrator for quality control, quality inspection, contracting and purchasing, supply and storage, industrial or production planning, research and engineering, maintenance, and test and evaluation

Using various methods of communication to inform and remind program staff of the overall message of the program, as well as to disseminate, implement, and enforce all details and policies of the program

Implementing prescribed methods for collecting, maintaining, and compiling data needed for incorporation into quality program reporting and updating

Developing, reviewing, and updating of the program’s Quality Management Plan (QMP) that describes application of the appropriate methodology and metrics for accomplishing and measuring Government-approved performance expectations and objectives

Implementing and executing procedures for and conducts audit, inspection, documentation, reporting, and resolution of quality assurance issues at all stages of the life cycle across the enterprise system, including new and existing hardware and software products, data, databases, networks, servers, facilities, systems, and services

Monitoring all operations that affect quality, supervises/guides internal inspectors and quality assurance analysts, and communicates with external quality assurance officers prior to, during, and following on-site inspections, as needed

Supporting Transition-In activities as they relate to functional responsibilities.
This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours.
Qualifications

Minimum of fourteen years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree

Proven experience analyzing data records and creating quality control measures

Experience in implementing and executing processes, procedures, and test/validation plans that conform to the QMP, as well as to contract and regulatory requirements
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree with twelve (12)
ITIL v4 Foundation certification
Active DoD TS clearance
REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
DoD Secret clearance
