Description
SAIC is looking for an experienced IT professional to manage the Network and Telephony team responsible for routing, switching, VPN, gateway, IP Telephony, WAN, LAN, remote access, IPAM, DNS, and DHCP services and infrastructure for a federal government customer in Washington, DC. This role also includes responsibility for a 24x7 NOC.
The responsibility for these services includes incident and problem management, response and escalations, patch and upgrade management, on-call rotation, and overall operational management of the network and telephony services and team. This also includes future-planning, coaching, and development of the team, and working with peer teams to investigate and resolve issues as needed, and participating in DR exercises. The ability to interface and work with the customer professionally and exhibit leadership qualities is paramount.

Experience with the following tools and technologies:
Network monitoring and management tools. Knowledge of and experience with circuits, networks and networking equipment (LAN/WAN), and Cisco, Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime, Cisco VOIP (Unified Communications), Nexus Switches, Infoblox, and Gigamon technologies.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
