Job Description



Job Summary : 6+ total years of relevant IT experience in a technical field of which a minimum of 3 years are experience providing administration services for a major Service Management System (preferably ServiceNow).

Job Role Specific Requirements:

   Core responsibilities and duties; highlight day-to-day activities:

  1. Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development with ServiceNow ITSM application suite.
  2. Maintain the stability and usability of the platform across production and non-production environments.
  3. Perform application maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification and remediation.
  4. Maintain security for user/group access, administration, access control lists, etc.
  5. Provide configuration assistance to developers.
  6. Support upgrade planning and execution.
  7. Key resource participating in the implementation of ServiceNow, managed in sprints.
  8. Continual and ad hoc operation and maintenance activities for the system.
  9. Perform SMS development activities, supporting the entire development lifecycle.
  10. Apply SDLC and DevOps principles.
  11. Perform response and resolution for assigned SMS service requests and incidents.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation providing support during non-business hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
  13. Develop and support testing for ongoing operations and maintenance, releases, as well as day-to-day administration for ServiceNow.
  14. Perform and/or coordinate Section 508 testing.
  15. Manages all phases of System Integration Testing (SIT)


Preferred skills and qualifications:

  Note: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and

   the ability to obtain a public trust



Top 3 Qualifications, Skills, Experience or Certifications: 

1.  6+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 3+ in administration services for a major Service Management System (SMS), preferably ServiceNow.

2. Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification and Automated Testing Framework Micro Certification are required.

3.  Experience supporting SMS development, testing and implementation activities.
