SAIC works with our customers on missions that strengthen security and safety and protect the basic values of our society. We have an opening for a motivated, dedicated and energetic Mid-Career Configuration Manager to support a recently awarded software development program supporting the Intelligence Community. The selected individual will:

• Provide support for GitOps- agile Dev(Sec)Ops using Gitlab
• Apply software management concepts to build and integrate scrips into Gitlab CI/CD;
• Manage, maintain and develop CM environments for software product build, staging, testing and integration;

The position is approved for 60% telework. 

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Eight (8) years of experience as a Configuration Manager (CM)

  • CM Experience must include using GitOps- agile Dev(Sec)Ops using Gitlab and experience with Linux/Unix as well as experience in applying software configuration management concepts to build and integrate scripts into Gitlab CI/CD.

  • The experience must include at least one (1) year of experience using a source code control system for a developmental program.

• Candidate must have require experience with Linux/Unix and they must be able to build RPMs from source files.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • A Master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to six (6).

•  Four (4) years of additional CM experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Desired Qualifications:

• CM experience with Container and Container Orchestration,

• CM experience with the Cloud Native Computing Foundation landscape.
