Description

SAIC is pursuing a high profile bid focused on Managed Information Technology Service (MITS) Enterprise Support Managed Services for the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). 
 
USTRANSCOM provides command and control (C2) for the synchronized transportation, distribution, and sustainment of personnel and assets, making possible the projection and maintenance of national power wherever needed with speed and agility, high efficiency, and a high level of trust and accuracy.
 
The MITS contract is intended to provide IT Service Management (ITSM) to USTRANSCOM for strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command’s infrastructure, systems, and applications.  These opportunities are contingent upon award with an anticipated start in winter of 2022/2023.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related Technical or Business discipline and required years’ experience, based on specific role
  • USTRANSCOM, C2, IT Service Management or related missions experience
  • Knowledge of the USTRANSCOM customer, operational environment, and/or infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage priorities, requests, time, and program requirements in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; works well in group problem solving situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and requirements based off understanding the impacts of those to the operational mission.
  • Strong analytical skills; quickly determine deliverable expectations of project, presentations, reporting and deliver on-time or early with validated, quality data and professional presentation
  • Has strong organizational, communications and engagement skills.
  • Proven experience managing customer needs through continual change and adapting to new technology requirements, sales needs, or service changes
  • PMI PMP certification for Project Managers
  • ITIL Foundation certification for positions supporting IT Service Management related to Enterprise activities and services including Application Configuration and Sustainment
  • DODI 8500.1 / 5200.02 IT-I, IT-II, IT-III clearance and DoD 8570.01-M certifications for IA administrative positions
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience working with USTRANSCOM C2 and understanding their mission, processes and procedures
REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
  • Minimum of an Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • DoD Top Secret or TS/SCI Security Clearance a plus
