SAIC is currently seeking an Exercise Scenario Manager to support the design and execution of exercise scenarios across a portfolio of USINDOPACOM Joint Exercise Programs (JEP) which provide training for the USINDOPACOM HQ staff, service components, unified and sub-unified CCMDs, and partners in order to rehearse staff processes during all phases of competition, crisis, and conflict. Additionally, will support development of strategies, exercise design, and other operational management tasks as assigned. This position requires travel up to 25% to partner sites. This position is on-site delivery at Camp HM Smith, HI.

Responsibilities/Duties 

• Facilitate design meetings, planning discussions, exercises, and identify strengths and gaps within organizational plans, processes, and procedures
• Develop challenging exercise scenarios that adhere to the guidance and priorities of Commander, USINDOPACOM informed by current geopolitical postures, national/regional strategies.
• Provide exercise support through information and knowledge management industry best practices.
• Conduct independent research and facilitate briefings on emergent geopolitical dynamics within the USINDOPACOM AOR.
• Facilitate the development and integration of kinetic and non-kinetic processes into training, exercise, rehearsal, testing, and experimentation events
• Support test and evaluation activities specifically for service training, Joint training, exercises, experimentation, mission rehearsal, coalition partners, and Combatant Command, service, and agency events.
• Provide on-site environment and event planning support to non-local partner sites

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors and fifteen (15) years experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more experience; four (4) years or experience will be considered in lieu of degree. 

Qualifications:

• Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. JPME II or equivalent experience in a Joint Combatant Command Headquarters
• 5+ years of experience with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) or equivalent Project Management experience (PMP Preferred)
• Ability to lead components in the planning and execution of Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) events, work plans, seminars, and war-games.
• Familiarity with the USINDOPACOM mission and area of responsibility (AOR)
• Experience with proofreading and editing organizational directives, policies, instructions, and technical documents.
• Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Clearance:

Candidate must have an active  Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
