SAIC seeks a Security Specialist to support our IC customer in Springfield, VA. 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide subject matter expertise, assistance, recommendations and hands-on-support to all Special Programs and Operational Support related activities.
  • Support Identity Data Management development from cradle to grave. - Prepare, review, and staff required documentation for Identify Data Management - Understand procedures for handling SCI Controlled Access Programs (CAP’s), Special Access Programs (SAP), Alternative Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM) and other collateral materials IAW applicable security policies and regulations.
  • Assist in conducting Due Diligence (DD) assessments in accordance with Department of Defense policies.




  • Active TS/SCI security clearance and ability to successfully complete a polygraph examination.
  • Bachelor's degree in security or criminal justice or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant security experience.
  • 5+ years of experience conducting or directly supporting special or sensitive operational activities.
  • Successfully completed the following DoD course: Advanced Technician Course.
  • Experience with Counterintelligence Programs and Policies.
  • Experience with Identity Data Management Policies, Directives, and Instructions.
