Job Description


Analyzes project requirements and provides support in the areas of business management, financial management, acquisition management, program/project scheduling, support requirements, meeting coordination and on site program support and performs other related analyst/management activities required for successful completion of one or more task orders.  May support FAA outreach and government/industry efforts. Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with the FAA Task Manager on technical and program/project issues. Responsible for both monitoring and reporting program/project progress as well as management and control of financial and administrative of the program/project.  

1 Process applications for the Letter of Deviation Authority (LODA), and updated LODA tracker as needed.

2. Create visual of the area of operations in Google Earth, Create endangered species report using IPaC database, and update the AMA spreadsheet.

3. Provide support to The General Aviation and Commercial Division is responsible for regulations and policy development governing the training, certification, inspection, and surveillance of General Aviation (GA) airmen, flight instructors, GA air agencies (pilot schools), commercial operations (rotorcraft, external-load, agricultural, banner tow, Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 125 operators, part 91, corporate, business, personal and recreational (aviation events, experimental aircraft, parachute, and ultralight operations), part 91subpart K (part 91K) fractional ownership), and public aircraft operations.


TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and two (2) years, Masters and one year of related experience, or High School Diploma and 5 years experience.

US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
