Description

SAIC has a position with the FAA's Surveillance and Broadcast Services (SBS) Performance and Sustainment Team for one (1) full time position, starting immediately.

Requirements:

The candidate should possess the following:

  • Experience with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) and program management;
  • Experience with FAA financial systems such as PRISM and Delphi;
  • Familiarity with procurement processes;
  • Proficiency with using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Prior acquisition and contract management experience with FAA.

  • Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task;
  • Detailed-oriented mindset and proficiency in researching and analyzing financial information and systems;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team;
  • Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as, have the ability to identify and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of system investments;
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills;
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support program meetings by developing required documentation, such as meeting agendas, minutes, lesson learned, etc.;
  • Research, identify, and analyze contract management requirements and problems;
  • Plan, prepare and conduct analysis;
  • Develop presentations to highlight key points;
  • Assemble back-up information that addresses the specifics of information/data presentations;
  • Ensure information/data validation - all information is consistent among programs and with FAA systems of record.

Tasks may also be part of a process improvement/documentation effort. Tasks for this effort may include:

  • Develop business rules pertaining to contract management and the application of AMS policy;
  • Perform requirements gathering and cataloging to identify consolidation and improvement opportunities;
  • Organize processes in a logical and methodical manner;
  • Document as-is processes and create process maps;
  • Draft to-be processes and maps.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 2 years related experience. Additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
