Job Description


SAIC is looking for a, Fully Remote, Communications Manager to plan, implement, and evaluate a variety of communication
activities designed to impact positive program outcomes.


  • Coordinate and conduct activities with internal and external customers related to program communications, translation and dissemination of program information to audiences in a variety of formats
  • Develop overall Communicaton Plan, documenting processess and procedures, references, and has presentation responsibilities of the overall plan to the customer
  • Provides senior level leadership for communications across the program, engages with all internal functional areas points of contact (POCs) and uses pre-existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to integrate communication activities in accordance with overall plans
  • Attends all operational meetings and participates in the programs rapid response team efforts for emergency or crisis communications
  • Develop and maintain standard communication templates for all of the program's functional areas and varying communication needs
  • Coordinate the dissemination of program information through written, Web-based, and digital media formats
  • Prepare and present communication materials (i.e., newsletters, user communications, notifications/updates) for publication on government websites
  • Collaborates with Gov Public Affairs Office as needed



  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Experience with Google G-Suite, Sharepoint, and/or Microsoft Office products
  • Experience using IT ticket management systems, such as ServiceNow, Remedy, ect
  • Experience adding and updating website data and providing communications through web or email distribution tools
  • Interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate effectively with internal technical and management personnel
  • and C-Suite government customers


  • Must have active Secret Clearance
  • Must be a current US Citizen


  • PMP or CAPM Certification
  • ITIL® Intermediate Level Certification
  • Familiarity with Enterprise IT environments and organizations in a federal civilian government environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, or related discipline

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
