Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer for full time, Flex Work role in support of the Army National Guard Military Intelligence Support Services task order. 

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for designing and developing Sharepoint artifacts, including web parts, custom fields, custom lists, views, content types, sites and sub-sites, lists, libraries, customizations, including custom branding, navigation, search, with C#, Javascript, Jquery, XML, HTML and CSS and Visual Studio Code
  • Develop, implement, and support solutions that meet business needs using the Office 365 apps including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps, Forms, Groups, Delve, Stream and Planner.
  • Refactoring solutions built in legacy SharePoint versions (2013, 2016, and 2019) to M365 and SharePoint Online (SPO).
  • Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining SharePoint Online Modern enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Design, create, configure, and develop new or enhance existing applications and interfaces using Modern SharePoint and the Power Platform suite of applications and services.
  • Leverage the available toolset to solve business problems, improve performance, cultivate collaboration, enhance productivity, and increase communication.
  • Provide front-end SharePoint Online development leveraging UI/UX best practice and adhering to 508 compliance standards.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, software development, peer reviews, unit and integration testing.
  • Assume accountability for ensuring efficient and high quality portal deliverable.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and track end-user issues and requests.
  • Strong customer focus and teamwork skills required. Ability to innovatively solve technical issues and work through organizational challenges by thinking out of the box.
  • Work with IT business analysts, subject matter experts, and government stakeholders to solicit and analyze business requirements and desired results.
  • Analyze user/process problems then implement and design Power Applications to solve these problems.
  • Analyze user/process problems then implement and design ad-hoc reporting systems, via PowerBI and/or Excel.
  • Management of site collection permissions.
  • Potential for 5% travel to Rosslyn, VA if customer requires white board session or similar.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; four years of experience in lieu of degree.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Required Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience building SharePoint 2016 and Modern SharePoint solutions using SharePoint functionality
  • Strong, applied knowledge of the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (M365, Teams, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI)
  • Extensive applied knowledge of PowerApps, JavaScript, JSON, .NET, InfoPath, workflows, HTML, CSS, graphics, and ASP.NET.
  • Microsoft 365 Developer certification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing PowerApps Component Framework (PCF)
  • Demonstrated expertise in PowerApps Portal
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing Plugins and custom workflows Power Automate (Flow)

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Fundamentally requires an open and creative mind, the ability to conduct rigorous analysis with limited oversight from senior management, and the ability to present difficult technical concepts in simple terms. 
  • Requires demonstrated experience developing, analyzing, and re-engineering business processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Requires demonstrated experience in implementing workflows and processes to manage information using collaboration and knowledge management platforms.
  • Experience creating training materials in support of a large team-understanding beginner to intermediate use of functionality built.
  • Candidates must have experience directly engaging with users of knowledge management tools to solicit input and troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required together with proficient research and analytical skills.
  • Experience presenting and training internal and external stakeholders to include senior leaders.

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
