SAIC currently has an opening for a Combat Developer in Huntsville, AL.

Job Description:

  • Space Based capabilities (e.g. SATCOM, PNT, ISR);
  • Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs);
  • Assessments of current / future systems and across DOTMLPF-P elements;
  • Development of emerging materiel solutions;
  • Synchronization of Army and Joint-service operational assessments;
  • Rapid fielding initiatives and technology transitions;
  • Development, coordination, and staffing of appropriate Capability Development Documents (CDDs), Capability Production Document (CPDs), or any other required Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) documents, including the required supporting analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

Required Education

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and fifteen (15) years’ experience; Master's and thirteen (13) years' experience; PHD and ten (10) years' experience or the equivalent combination of education or military experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Space, Aerospace Engineering, National Space Systems and capabilities OR experience in Signal Intelligence.
  • Ability to develop event-based schedules based on key events; developing calendar-based schedules with expected task and event completion dates with dependency relationships among tasks; and development of briefings and reports with supporting graphics and other analyses.
  • Must possess ability to identify/investigate source documents in related Space or Intelligence areas and organize data sets for quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Experience with systems and integrated technology development, Joint-service program synchronization, user operational assessments/rapid fielding initiatives, and PM acquisition strategy/transition coordination.

 

Required Clearance:

  • The candidate must possess and maintain an active TS/ SCI.
