Description

SAIC is seeking a System Administrator who will be responsible for providing a combination of system administration and desktop support for our client in Washington DC.

The candidate will be part of a team responsible for supporting Windows Server 2012R2 and Server 2016 servers hosted on site. Candidate will be responsible for managing Microsoft Exchange Servers, setting up user accounts and mailboxes along with backup, security and restoring files. Candidate will also be responsible for administering Office365, Azure and McAfee.

Support applications including Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft IIS, McAfee, as well as various code analysis and test tools.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors and two years of experience or equivalent experience and education
  • Windows Server 2012R2 and 2016 Operating Systems
  • Exchange Server Administration
  • Microsoft Office 365 (O365) and Azure Administration
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
  • McAfee Administration
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Candidate will be required to work shift hours as needed

Desired:

  • Microsoft Certification (MCSA)
  • Server+ Certification
  • Network+ Certification or CCNA
