SAIC is looking for a Construction Manager and Inspector to join our team.

The ideal candidate shall have a broad hands-on construction experience, construction supervision, and technical construction background to inspect construction work and be on-site construction management support to the Project Manager (PM). 

The work will include reviewing and commenting on drawings during the design phase for constructability, and then inspecting and inspiring excellence with contractors during the construction phase to ensure accurate materials, placement and proper installation quality and techniques. Will regularly report to the PM and others as directed. The majority of time will be spent partnering and working with the construction contractors as the PM’s eyes, ears, and trusted agent. The work will mainly occur in the construction trailers and on the job sites. On a rare occasion the manager will travel to other construction sites

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with an updated SSBI and CI Poly
• 10+ years supervising and managing construction in the field as a commercial/industrial Construction Superintendent/Project Manager
• Experience with all types of commercial/industrial construction to include tools, techniques, materials, operations and procedures
• Knowledgeable in many aspects of construction skill trade work including but not limited to concrete forming and placement, masonry erection, building envelopes, moisture intrusion, seismic regulations, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, structural, roofing, framing and architectural finishes
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD and MSOffice Suite

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
