Description
SAIC is looking for an Electronic Warfare Technician to support a Navy contract in Pensacola, FL. This position installs all equipment changes, configuration updates, and system modifications on all designated trainers including the SLQ-32 and MRTS.
- Troubleshoots (fault isolation) defective/degraded equipment performance and provides corrective action to restore scheduled training capability.
- Installs, maintains, and/or removes equipment located in workshops, storage areas, and classroom/laboratories.
- Installs all equipment changes, configuration updates, and system modifications on all designated trainers including the SLQ-32 and MRTS. Trainers shall be maintained in accordance with existing local command maintenance directives.
- Performs supply support functions for the CIWT domain.
- Performs a System Operational Verification Test (SOVT) on all modified, updated, and newly installed equipment to ensure its operational capability.
- Performs regular maintenance on operational classroom equipment in accordance with applicable technical publications, or vendor publications.
Qualifications
Required education and experience:
- Bachelor's and two (2) years or more experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required skills:
- Ship EW systems SLQ-32 maintenance experience is required.
Required certification:
- Must have an IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security or CSA+ or GICSP or GSEC or Security+ CE or SSCP).
Required clearance:
- A minimum of an active Secret security clearance.
