SAIC is seeking a Vice President of Army Intelligence Programs who will be responsible for the development and execution of the Army Intelligence account within the Army Business Unit. 

This role is located in Reston, VA but does allow telework options. 

The current Operational Intelligence & Support Account is a multi-layer organization of diverse small programs and large contracts supporting customers with complex technical and operational requirements, the majority of which are incrementally-funded (vice institutionally). This requires demonstrated ability to lead vertically within the portfolio to satisfy performance requirements and engage horizontally with customers to ensure regular and timely funding.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and support the successful execution of current programs to include revenue, profit, fee, direct labor and customer satisfaction
  • Develop, implement and drive a unified strategy and accountability for growth into and across the organization, inclusive of establishing personal and program-level metrics and goals supportive of enterprise objectives
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the Army Intelligence market areas across the full spectrum of SAIC services, collaborating with Business Unit and Operations BD leaders and the SAIC technology and innovation stakeholder team
  • In conjunction with market strategy development efforts, lead internal initiatives for C5ISR   elements of the Army Business Unit to identify go to market technologies, offerings and necessary investments
  • Drive people care initiatives to support the staffing and retention of top talent across all Army programs, positioning SAIC as a career destination of choice with competitive benefits, flexible workplace options and meaningful mobility and progression opportunities
  • Build and cultivate strong customer relationships with Army Intelligence Commands as well as the greater Army/ Special Operations intelligence community to position SAIC as a top tier provider in the market; identify and solidify growth opportunities on base business as well as tangential markets
  • Develop and deliver efficiencies at all levels of the portfolio via formal metrics and incentives to drive cost savings, improve margins, and achieve corporate objectives

Qualifications

Required Leadership Capabilities:

  • Culture Fit & Impact: P&L Experience: 5 + years of P&L experience successfully managing portfolios of federal government business of approximately $ 100 million in annual revenue, with focus on Intelligence Processing , Exploitation and Dissemination (PED), system development, multi- Intel analysis, EW and Cyber support, and Multi Intel training as well as Program Management.    
  • Industry Experience: Strong understanding of contracting across the DOD and Army markets.  Experience with contracting in commercial markets a plus.
  • Business Development Experience: A successful, measurable record of accomplishment of leading sustained organic (and inorganic) growth of a business of similar scale either as a P&L leader, PM leader or business development leader.
  • Programs Experience: Successful experience managing Intelligence programs with Army, and/or the Department of Defense. Desired is experience with Army customers within DA G2, INSCOM, ARCYBER, FORSCOM G2, PEO- C3T, PEO- IEWS, DEVCOM elements, Army National Guard G2 and well as Army Service Component Command (ASCC) G2. Experience with managing business and/or programs in commercial markets a plus. Demonstrated technical and program management experience leading large government contracts and portfolios at a senior level. Demonstrated experience in driving profitable growth across large and complex programs and portfolios. Ability to represent SAIC well to target customers, and develop new and profitable relationships with customers of various tenures.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Possesses an Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Required Education Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical Discipline or one of the Sciences, or equivalent preferably an Engineering degree and 15+ years of experience (Master's degree desired)

Demonstrated Work Experience

  • 10 + years’ experience in acquisition/Program management within the DoD/ Army
  • Ability to maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing customers and advise them accordingly
  •  Ability to handle escalated issues and safeguard against risk
  • Strong understanding of competitive landscape
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and the levers that can be used to exceed goals
  •  Innovative thinker – leverage roles in existing markets for new customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of management and executives including Board members
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
