JOB DESCRIPTION:  SAIC is seeking an experienced program integrator to provide programmatic and baseline budget support to a department front office in a new Customer mission center.  The candidate will be a key member of the front office team and must be a self-starter who can work independently and handle multiple tasks.  The candidate will track and respond to actions and ensure the front office team is informed of all issues regarding daily operations (personnel, space, budget, actions, outreach, etc).   S/he will represent the front office in inter- or intra-agency forums and contribute substantively to discussions and actions on behalf of senior management.  Additional duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare, track, and update positions on the manning table for accuracy of assignments, and assist with department coordination with Human Resources Staff and Personnel Evaluation Management Staff regarding vacancies and positions.
  • Develop and monitor projects within the department, track and report on schedules and budget, and provide advice on the status of projects.
  • Provide support to the department’s Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) on contract management and oversight.
  • Identify areas for further efficiencies resulting in time, dollar, or position savings while maintaining a focus on meeting mission requirements.
  • Receive, parse out, collect input, and respond to department taskers.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Qualifications: 

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree).
  • Minimum of two years of Customer experience, or five years of IC experience, or ten years of broader federal government experience.
  • Experience with budget and plans initiatives, utilizing standard Customer finance applications and tools, developing and tracking spend plans, and stretching resources in a lean environment.
  • Record of accomplishment supporting the customer on planning, implementing, and tracking team initiatives and deliverables.
  • Outstanding coordination skills and ability to build strong customer relationships, along with a high comfort level managing multiple requirements.
  • Mastery of MS Office applications and ability to create and deliver engaging documents and briefings for a senior-level audience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expertise in drafting clear and concise cables on the Customer system, and monitoring incoming cables.
  • Successful experience implementing metrics that illustrate progress against key goals.
  • Expertise with Hive, OneNote, or similar applications to manage and share program documentation.
