SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division is seeking a Software Developer to work closely with stakeholders to generate and refine new requirements for the development and inclusion of Tableau commercial software package and visualization capabilities while decommissioning older versions. The developers will provide development and operations and maintenance (O&M) support for Tableau products and services such as websites and wikis, leverage and integrate enterprise access control and data securing capabilities, and design and develop scripts for data sync functions to assist with capability activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in five or more of the following software development activities:
    • Utilizing Tableau Desktop, Server, Prep/Conductor, data connectors, and other Tableau add-ons
    • Using Python, Java and JavaScript (JS), and C, C++, or C# in development
    • Working within an AWS, Azure, and similar cloud environment
    • Utilizing cloud based managed services such as Simple Workflow (SWF), Data Pipeline, Relational Database (RDS), Cloudwatch, Cloudbreak, EC2, EBS, S3, KMS.
    • Requesting application and server certifications and updating AMIs
    • Implementing DevOps principles, pipeline development, deployment, maintenance, and process automation
    • Working with NoSQL, SQL, Excel, CSV, Spark, JIRA, and ServiceNow Databases
    • Developing using the full software development lifecycle
    • Developing using Agile methodologies and working within an Agile environment
    • Providing product demonstrations and training sessions
