Description

The FAA has an immediate requirement for a Systems Engineer. Responsibilities include:
 
• Manage and update of existing Knowledge Service Network (KSN) sites and tools based on management request
• This will include duties related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of TAMR PO’s Knowledge Services Network (KSN) site. Duties include, but are not limited to; regular maintenance, training, help desk assistance, updates and generating reports, as described above
• Development and management of SharePoint security groups; manage system permissions
• Develop and input the programming necessary for the generation of forms within the TAMR PO KSN site and output from the TAMR PO KSN site
• Support all TAMR PO functional teams with implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and performing day-to-day administration of a TAMR PO KSN environment
• Prepare and present reports gathered from TAMR PO KSN and other FAA data systems to internal customers on both a regular and ad hoc basis
• Create and develop TAMR PO KSN enhancements, modifications, and remediation of problems arising from operation of the system, through programming
• Provide support services, e.g., TAMR PO help desk services, to users of the TAMR PO KSN site
• Ensure that the TAMR PO KSN site meets the technical, business process and end user requirements by regularly analyzing the system using approved metrics and providing recommendations based upon that analysis
• Analyze and report TAMR PO KSN usage and activity
• Development and management of SharePoint not limited to KSN Site, page, libraries

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:
 
• A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with SharePoint or as a KSN programmer/facilitator
• Experience as a SharePoint programmer or designer
• Familiarity with the performing IT-related services involving a FAA SharePoint MS Knowledge Services Network (KSN) site
• Proficiency with Microsoft InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint or SharePoint based-KSN Facilitation
• Project management experience in the federal civilian acquisition program management area
• Experience with facilitating and/or leading meetings with member of a program office
• Strong research, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail

US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance


Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
