SAIC has won a new contract and we are building a team of Software Developers (Tool Developers), Malware Engineers, and Reverse Engineers to support high profile, high visibility projects in Bethesda, MD. The ideal developer should have the capacity to work with the overall program team in the design and development of new applications as well as integrating new solutions on existing applications. You will be able to analyze and solve complex application development needs to identify solutions to include potential new tools and technologies.  You should also have a strong command of Javascript software development principles and should have interest in learning and implementing new skills. Experience working in a DevOps environment developing within an Agile environment using code delivery mechanisms, such as Maven, Ant, continuous build systems such as Jenkins, Git, code repositories such as Subversion, and continuous delivery solutions, such as Jenkins, or Puppet.

 

In this position you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain tools within various network environments, including the cloud environment
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation
  • Applies agile software development and user interface design principles to improve the overall functionality, usability, and user acceptance of new and augmented software applications
  • Identify and investigate solutions to technical problems/needs of moderate scope and complexity
  • Gather and refining specifications and requirements based on technical need
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance
  • Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improve current techniques
  • Train users to use new or modified equipment

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI is required and a CI Poly is preferred, or you must be able to obtain a CI Poly
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in tool development on IC/DoD Systems
  • Experience developing secure applications for the government using Service Oriented Architecture and Microservices reference architectures.
  • Experience applying common programming languages: C and C++, Python, Java, Groovy
  • Experience applying common web programming language, such as HML5, CSS, JQuery, AngularJS, React
  • Experience in aspects of developing, integrating, and refactoring software libraries to assist with composing new service components, services, business processes, and end user applications

Desired:

  • OSCP or SANS certifications; Project Experience with a focus on malware analysis, software analysis, and low-level programming
