Description

SIAC is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist in the San Diego, CA area for our government customer on the Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I), PMW 160 Program. This resource will be responsible for assisting the government in establishing and maintaining a documented baseline for one or more of the programs within the Tactical Networks (TACNET) Program Office. Working across multiple business process areas, the CMS will gather, analyze, and verify data on existing enterprise platforms, locations, hardware, software and documentation for entry into the configuration management system (CMPRO) for the establishment or update of baselines in accordance with PMW 160 Configuration Management Plan (CMP). Additonal responsibilities include:

***This role is mostly remote, with the potential for on-site SIPR work or team meeting requirements up to once per month. Thus,  candidates should reside within San Diego or surrounding areas.***

  • Supporting the government's CM program and assisting the lead CMS in developing, reviewing and maintaining the program CM Plan.
  • Assisting the lead CMS with product structure/configuration hierarchy definition and maintaining configuration baselines (Functional, Allocated, Product, As-Installed).
  • Evaluating and processing submitted Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs) and coordinating efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participating in Integrated Product Team (IPT), Program and PMW Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Platform Technical Review Board (PTRB) meetings/discussions.
  • Reviewing, updating and providing CM process training to contractor and government personnel as required
  • Establishing complete baselines for hardware and software and displaying the information via the CM data repository
  • Supporting the government's Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) process and procedures
  • Providing weekly status updates and Monthly Activity Reports.

Qualifications

***This position REQUIRES U.S. citizenship and, at minimum, an ACTIVE DoD Secret-level Clearance. All candidates without an active Clearance will be immediately disqualified.***

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related Change Management experience.
  • Strong document management skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and NSERC or similar OpenSource tool
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum processes 

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior US Navy Experience
  • Change Management Certification (CCMP, CMI, CMS or similar)

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
