Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst to support our Nuclear Enterprise (NE) Advisory and Assistance Services support to DTRA. Perform a combination of project Control, Division Administration, and Acquisition Support duties, independently overseeing the DTRA Nuclear Enterprise Nuclear Logistics (NL) Office operations and supports tasks as needed.The  Administrative  Assistant  functions  semi-independently  supporting the NE-NL office daily operations and assists as needed. Additionally, as preparations for contruction and relocation to a nearby new location occur over the next several years, support local NL leadership with planning and executing all physical, personnel, and operational move activities.

  • Assist with the daily operation of the NL Department; Prepare briefing materials, papers, program plans, and other material; Provide subjective and technical review of documents and read-aheads;
  • Assist with planning, organizing, executing, documenting and pre-, post-support of workshops, training, conferences and meetings;

  • Oversee Front Office calendars, taskers, office distribution;
  • Maintain SharePoint lists, libraries, libraries, wiki pages, web parts, sites and subsites
  • Support department leadership travel and visitor activities
  • Support department acquisition tasks as required, including assisting with vendor and product market research, obtaining price quotes, researching product availability, alternatives, remaining life, and independent ratings, and helping draft and review acquisition packages
  • Coordinates with other SAIC A&AS staff to provide awareness of planned and ongoing activities, tasks and program direction



Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or high school graduate with 5+ years work experience in an office environment.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Outlook (including maintaining calendars), and Sharepoint file organization and maintenance.
  • Office environment administrative and organizational skills, Ability to work with and communicate clearly with Senior Leaders. Excellent command of the English language with exceptional technical review abilities (grammar, punctuation, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of aesthetics to product attractive documents and presentations.
  • Previous work experience in military or government organizations is a plus, including good grasp of military hierarchy. Self starter with ability to work with minimal supervision and complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:  Office administrative and organization skills; Ability to work with Senior Leaders; Command of the English language with exceptional technical review abilities (grammar, punctuation, etc.)


  • Active Secret clearance, Top Secret is preferred
