Job Description

Description

We are seeking an EO/IR research engineer to support our operations at Eglin AFB, FL. • will be involved in the set up and testing of EO/IR projector and EO/IR sensor hardware and software, including optical systems and components.
  • must have an understanding of radiometry, radiometric calibration, and non-uniformity compensation (NUC) of detectors and infrared emitter arrays
  • must be fluent in Matlab.
  • should have experience in Python and/or C++
  • will need to be able to work effectively and communicate both within a small team and individually.
  • must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Optics, or equivalent with 2-5 years of experience (desired).
