SAIC is looking for a customer service focused Security Analyst to support a government organization located in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will assist with providing security operations support for the government security manager. You will provide multi-disciplined security support to a customer’s facility and organization. You will provide day-to-day support for collateral activities. 

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of multi-disciplinary security functions to include INFOSEC, PERSEC, OPSEC, and Foreign Disclosure.
  • Assist in providing effective security education, training, and awareness (SETA) program.
  • Assist in conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, pre-/post-foreign travel briefings, refresher briefings, and other briefings as needed.
  • Assist with Classified Meeting preparation and support.
  • Assist in reviewing, interpreting, and maintaining Security Classification Guides.
  • Assist in reviewing of DD254 and applicable documents.
  • Assign and update building badges as needed
  • Attend program meetings where security presence is requested or required.
  • Communicate with other security staff to ensure security policies and procedures are compliant with government, and customer requirements.
  • Escort non-cleared personnel as needed.
  • Identify deficiencies and implement best practices
  • Interpret security doctrine and provide clear guidance to company employees.
  • Provide regular updates to Program Managers and Security Manager on status of security management, security violations, badges, clearances, visit request, etc.
  • Wrap and ship out classified packages following DoD guidelines

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; four (4) years accepted in lieu of degree

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Security experience developing and executing security policy and programs within DoD
  • Knowledge of DoD policies, directives and instructions and technical guidance

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

Must possess an active Secret Clearance
