SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Senior SIGINT Externals Engineer to work on the Landmark AOS program on-site in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA contract, supporting the customers Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the Acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

The successful candidate will provide support for a range of system engineering efforts with varying degrees of required technical expertise, continuity of effort and value-added judgment to advise and assist the customer.

This position requires an active TS/SCI with Poly for consideration.

Responsibilities include:

• Advising senior and technical personnel to aid in the delivery of robust, scalable cloud-based software architecture that meets or exceeds emitter mapping mission requirements.
• Monitor Government sponsored development efforts by evaluating current and future architecture, supporting software integration, and providing ongoing assessment of products, service and platform providers.
• Provide advisory services to maintain and evolve the architecture based on rapidly evolving mission needs with the ability to develop, review, assess and prioritize concepts that satisfy emerging user needs through prototype efforts.
• Technical and programmatic support through the entire project life cycle including concept development, system definition, acquisition planning, source selection, system design, development, integration and test, system delivery, and mission operations
• Review development contractor’s documents and procedures, requirements flowdown, verification methodologies, calibration plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and test plans to ensure program success
• Provide support for enterprise Request for Change (RFC) reviews and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs); submitting recommendations including impacts to programs
• Coordinates, participates and makes recommendations in system engineering and technical exchange meetings (TEMs) between program contractors and enterprise elements and provides technical input to program briefings and other documents as needed
• Provide creative and innovative architectural solutions to ill-defined requirements
• Collaborate across multiple teams to refine requirements and system trades
• Review and assess impact of proposed scope changes to future architectures

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• BS in STEM domain or related field and 10+ years of experience or additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Demonstrated experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) customers as Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analyst
• Understanding of SIGINT mission processing
• Broad understanding of space and/or ground systems, hardware, software, operations, and their interdependence
• Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of current cloud computing environments, architectures, and migration efforts
• Experience with successful full life-cycle development projects
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and/or Service Now as user
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
