SAIC has a funded need for a Operations Analyst/Collection Manager to support a rapidly expanding Government Intelligence Community (IC) customer with cutting-edge programs within the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) at Ft Belvoir, VA.
Job Overview:
- Utilize custom collection management and orbit analysis tools and application frameworks, and libraries working with a team of analysts to develop solutions to studies and analytic questions
- Perform orbital mechanics modeling including tasking and targeting, orbit modeling, and anomaly resolution
- Assist in advancing current and promising concepts to inform tactical decision making timelines.
- Conduct analysis of mission data applicable to space vehicles and sensors
- Work in a collaborative team environment studying and analyzing a wide variety of interesting and complex problems in the Space domain.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM related field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace, Computer Science, etc. and Nine (9) years of experience.
- Active Top Secret/SCI w/Poly
- Experience with collection management of GEOINT systems
- Experience with orbit modeling tools such as STK or Free-Flyer or something similar
- Engineering analysis (collecting, organizing, analyzing data) experience
Excellent communication skills that will allow the presentation of findings to internal and external customers
