Job Description


SAIC is seeking an Intelligence Instructor at the Marine Corps Intelligence School (MCIS) Intelligence Training Enhancement Program (ITEP), Regional Intelligence Training Center (RITC), 29 Palms CA. 

The Intelligence Instructor is responsible for instructional delivery of intelligence-related curriculum in support of training requirements at MCIS RITC 29 Palms, CA.  In support of MCIS and the broader military intelligence community on the Military Intelligence Services Support (MISS) Task Order.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate with program lead personnel, USMC units, and MCIS headquarters personnel to identify, schedule and conduct intelligence training as required. 
  • Provide coach/mentor support in the field to units during designated exercises in the area of intelligence related tasks.
  • Conduct unit engagement to assist in the identification of intelligence training deficiencies and development or implementation of training solutions using the Systems Approach to Training and Education, and Unit Training Management guide.
  • Conduct and facilitate intelligence training as directed.
  • Assist in identifying training deficiencies and requirements for USMC units in 29 Palms.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of curriculum and scenario development.


Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Must have an active Top Secret Security clearance.

Required Experience:

  • Previous military intelligence curriculum development experience and training
  • Experience conducting training management
  • Experience in Combatant Commanders AOR with knowledge of threat forces preferred
  • Familiarity with USMC intelligence systems and IC tools
  • Knowledge of MCIS Headquarters and FMF operations
