JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAIC is seeking a Tech Support Analyst to support our Joint Range Extension (JRE) Program located in San Diego, CA.  

Job Duties:

  • Providing Tier-1/Tier 2 phone and onsite support of customers in order to provide them with the expertise needed to successfully execute their mission. 
  • CONUS Travel (1 – 2 days per month) to customer locations, for information assurance updates, teaching classes, installations, troubleshooting systems and more.
  • Semi-bi-yearly OCONUS trip to Qatar
  • Return Merchandise Authority troubleshooting and resolution
  • Imaging/reimaging JRE hard drives
  • Troubleshooting ancillary equipment such as cables and radios
  • Light network and system administration support

Qualifications

Education and experience:

  • Bachelors and two (2) years of experience; four (4) years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

Required skills:

  • Two years of networking or system admin experience
  • Tier 1 or Tier 2 help desk experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed

Security clearance:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

Desired skills:

  • Tactical Data Link (TDL)/Link 16/JREAP/Multi-TDL, or equivalent, experience
