SAIC is seeking a Senior Cloud Project Manager with an active Secret clearance for our Air Force Cloud One program. While predominantly working from home, there are occasional requirements (~one work day/month) to work at a classified location.

SAIC is seeking candidates for the Cloud One Common Computing Environment (CCE) program under the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center Office for Network Integration (AFLCMC/HNI). Cloud One is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure hosting mission systems, applications, services, and data that serve the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and U.S. Army (USA). Cloud One incorporates the capabilities of commercial cloud and Managed Service Providers (MSP) residing in Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Cloud One facilitates the USAF and USA’s efforts to migrate applications to a cloud environment, allowing the closure of data centers to support the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) and allowing for increased efficiencies across the entire spectrum of the USAF and USA's IT operations.

As the Project Manager, you will: 

• Lead a team of cloud engineers to accomplish specific engineering tasks and improvements to the Cloud One architecture.
• Manage schedule, cost, and performance of specific Cloud One engineering projects.
• Report progress and roadblocks to Cloud One SAIC and Government leadership.
• Coordinate team activities with specific team leads for engineering, testing, operations and sustainment (O&S) transition activities.
• Develop project documentation including, project plan, schedule, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and implementation and sustainment costs.
• Review technical documentation provided by supporting engineering team, such as network diagrams, architecture diagrams, test plans, system administrator guides, and user guides.
• Provide input to staffing plans and budgets.

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

• TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience. In lieu of a degree an additional four (4) years of experience is required.
• 2 years experience managing cloud-based projects in AWS, Azure, and/or OCI.
• Documentation development for projects including design, asset inventory, diagrams, and presentation to customers.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe or other modern software development methods/practices

 DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• PMP Certification
• CompTIA Security+ Certification (or other DoD 8570.01-M IAT II equivalent or higher)
• SAFe DevOps certification
• Experience with DESMF and/or ITIL 4 certification

 REQUIRED CLEARANCE:  An active Secret Clearance is required
