Description

SAIC is seeking an experienced software engineer for a project involving data collection, ETL, and data analysis. The selected candidate will work on a team to develop enterprise web applications and services, running on AWS, using Vue.js, C# NET Core, Python, and SQL Server. The primary focus of this candidate will be front-end software development. 

The candidate will participate in all phases of web and software application engineering, including design, analysis, implementation, and troubleshooting. The candidate should be able to develop front end user interfaces in response to customer needs, identify and fix security related application issues, perform as a member of a team, and recognize business driven enhancements and workflows for inclusion in the application. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Developing user-facing applications with Vue.js.
• Building modular and reusable components and libraries.
• Following best practices for secure, zero trust environments.
• Developing/maintaining code related to the various applications existing in the environment.
• Optimizing applications for performance.
• Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows.
• Data modeling, process modeling, and rapid prototyping.
• Planning, prioritizing, and executing in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
• Using version management and issue tracking software to document all changes (GIT and JIRA). 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
• Front-end development experience with Vue.js, React, Angular, Blazor, or similar front-end technologies. 
• Proven record of accomplishment of building SPA web interfaces talking with backend web api’s. 
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. 
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
• Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years, HS Diploma with 10+ years of combined relevant experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with C# /JavaScript/Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience with relational databases and the SQL query language.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services including EC2/ECS/S3/RDS.
• Experience with zero trust, secure coding practices.
• Advanced degree in business or a technology area with an IT focus.  
   

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
